• Special Recognition Award: Nominated for the 2003 Emil and Lynn Hubschman Award of the Pennsylvania Hospital for compassion, caring and responsible discharge of duties that exemplify the tradition of the Pennsylvania hospital.

• Dr. Nina Dehejia Premchand Award from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital – for ‘Best Intern of the year 1994-95’.
• Shatayushi Award for – ‘Best Medical Student of the Year 1994-95, Maharashtra State Award’.
• Pandurangi Award – ‘Best Resident Doctor of the year 1997’.
